Fuses and other confusing truck parts

The truck didn't really break down, but the fuse broke and we had to stop and get a new relay, fuse and horn, I know what a horn is, the other two, no clue.
Pito wanted to help a bit, so he is holding the #20 fuse. Which I found out is housed in the #5 section of the truck.
I still don't know what I am talking about =)

We enjoyed Apple soda while we waited however, and that was downright yummy!!!

Water trees and the Balloon Man

Today we went to the Big Fresno Fair (http://www.fresnofair.com/), and let me tell you if you can go, GO!! What an amazing fair!! The layout is totally family and kid friendly.
I loved the water tree, and the fish and waterfalls. We climbed all over the place hanging out. It was so much fun, the food was amazing. The people even more so, we talked to people all day long.

Pito got to use his new binoculars. He loved looking out through the tree house windows and seeing all of the families below. The tree house was so much fun to run around in, and to end on a Pirates ship was double exciting.

 We met some wonderful firemen and women and they taught us if there is a fire to call 911.

When we got back to the hotel room Pito played with the telephone, he wanted to order pizza and soda, I told him that we had enough to eat and drink and it was time for bed. SO he crawled into his brand new red sleeping bag and went to sleep.

Friday is good

I can think of over 10 reasons that Friday is the superior day of the week, Pito agrees with all of them, but for the moment he is going to nap instead of writing them, and I am going to paint. We will show you our accomplishments tonight.

Pito sat and posed for me and he suggested I paint him, I agree, but I fell fast asleep and I didn't get all of the painting done.
I will work on Godfrey again next week.

World Animal Day

World Animal Day was started in 1931 at a convention of ecologists in Florence as a way of highlighting the plight of endangered species. October 4 was chosen as World Animal Day as it is the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

Hide n Seek

Pito thought a game of hide and seek might be a lot of fun in the office. I thought this might give you, my readers, an opportunity to see where I work all day, so we played hide and seek on my break today.

I remember enjoying hide and seek as a kiddo, I also remember hiding and then getting the worst case of the giggles. Why that happens I don't know, but I would get to laughing till tears came out of my eyes, and that of course would give away my awesome hiding spot.

I took advantage of hiding and jumping out and scaring my friends on more than one occasion. This has followed me into adulthood, and when I can, I will hide and sit quietly and try to give my husband a good scare as well. This is only funny once, he is a ninja, and he can hide in plain sight and scare you right back. And twice the same day if he is so inclined.

Passed out

The little monkey ate way too much banana, so for the moment he is completely passed out on my desk. Which is fine with me given that I am at work, and I have a lot of work to do. This should give me a good hour of quiet time to get busy. Look at his fat little belly. No more whole bananas for this little Pito.

It's OCTOBER

Somewhere (other than here in Arizona) I am sure it is cooling down. So I wove little Pito a scarf this morning using drinking straws and yarn. It was actually a lot of fun. And he will be nice and warm when we go to the snow to build him a snow monkey this coming winter. =)
